• During its Regular Meeting on June 17, 2026, 7pm at the Whitefish Township Community Center, 7052 N. M-123, Paradise, Michigan, the Whitefish Township Planning Commission will conduct two Public Hearings.
• The purpose of these Public Hearings is to receive Public Comment regarding: Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments intended to regulate how Data Centers/Server Farms may operate within Whitefish Township, and: An Application for Special Land Use Approval of Conditional Land Use – Sand and Gravel Extraction 32828 W Farm Truck Trail Graham 40 acre p/n 016-222-080-00 in LD and RF zoning districts.
• The document “Data Center Facility Zoning Ordinance Amendments,” detailing the proposed text amendments to Articles 2, 4, and 6, is available for public inspection at the Township offices and at the Public Hearing. Call (906) 492-3452 x 6 for further information.
• All persons having an interest in these matters are encouraged to attend and make their views known at this time. Written comments may be submitted to the Whitefish Township Clerk, PO BOX 350, Paradise, MI 49768, or to clerk@whitefishtownshipmi.gov, and must be received no later than June 16, 2026.
• This notice is posted in compliance with Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, the Open Meetings Act, MCLA 41.72A (2) (3), and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
